Mugglenet.com had a similar problem a few months ago, but I am unsure how they fixed it. I wonder if the old site link (http://treehouse.6te.net/index.html) still works - I'm not willing to risk trying it though. Hopefully whatever happened can be fixed soon. _________________ We are a family

Freebs messaged me on Facebook today saying the same thing and asking me for a direct link to the board as he only had the main site bookmarked.
I noticed this problem a few weeks ago actually, but I'm not sure if there's anything I or Meister could do, despite (assistant) admin status. We can only access the board admin panel after all.
Jimmy, where art thou?

I noticed the links for webmasters to have their page reviewed by Google (probably what Mugglenet did). I guess you have to be the owner of the site to do that. Is Jimmy our only hope? _________________

Yep. My Superhero-like power to edit posts and remove bots etc, are of no worth over on the site. The Google giant (or 6te) would merely frown upon me.

Going to that address just brings up the Google warning. You can choose to ignore the warning, which I did at first, but it's annoying trying to browse the site when every time a new link / button is clicked the same Google warning crops up. _________________

Really? The warning only comes up for me when clicking on the link from Google's search results. If I go directly to the page, nothing happens with Google, and all the links within the site work ok, with no warnings. Google shouldn't even know when you click within a completely different site, unless they're monitoring your activity. _________________

Ah yeah, neglected to mention that I have the Google toolbar installed in Firefox, so that's no doubt why. _________________

"Malicous Virus warning" this site has had signs of this in many visits as my computer has said, and judging by the comments on this thread, Jimmy is the only one who can fix this. Who don't seem to be on Facebook at this time, I added him as one of my friends, but he hasn't replied yet. Danny, I forgot to mention I love your AV! _________________

When coming to the forum today I accidentally clicked the Treehouse website link instead. The site is completely gone. _________________ We are a family

Hmmm it was probably only a matter of time seeing as Jimmy is on an extra long hiatus. Hope the forum stays up and running. |

Well huh, that's a bummer. If needed, I think I archived all of the photos from the photo albums, but I didn't save anything from the screen cap section. _________________

It most likely will, seeing as it's in use and is independent of 6te.net anyway.
After all the effort Jimmy put into the site, it is a shame for it to be erased like that. _________________
